Our online International Foundation Programme in Business is designed to prepare you for a successful start at a UK university.

Across 3 or 4 terms, you will develop the academic skills and language proficiency needed for progression into an undergraduate degree programme of your choice at an English-speaking university.

English for Academic Purposes:

This module will build on your existing English language abilities and will adequately prepare you for study at an undergraduate level.

Research and Academic Study Skills:

This module will help you gain knowledge and skills in research, including identifying sources, presenting arguments, and understanding higher education in the UK.

Academic Specialism Project:

This module will develop coursework writing skills in your specific field of study.

Practical Mathematics:

This module will enhance your mathematic skills and help you understand British notation and maths required for business.

Math for Computing:

This module focuses on high maths and is required for progression onto certain economics, computing, and accounting degree options.

Fundamentals of Economics:

This module will provide you an understanding of economics, economic theory, and terminology.

Fundamentals of Marketing:

This module will develop your awareness of marketing tools and their use in business.

Introduction to Finance and Accounting:

This module builds upon mathematics and introduces business accounting and finance.

Foundation in Business Management: 

This module will introduce you to fundamental terminology and theories within the business and management world.

  • Three-term course = £15,000 
  • Four-term course = £16,400

Progression Routes: 

Completing our International Foundation Programme can lead to admission in undergraduate business degrees at partner universities. Several of our university partners also offer opportunities for progression into a broader selection of non-business degree programmes.

Our team will help you choose the ideal study options based on your academic background and performance in this programme. All applications to our university partners will be assessed by the university and admission will be subject to their entry requirements. 

Entry Requirements

Course Entry Requirements:

To enrol on the programme, you must demonstrate that you satisfy the academic and English language entry criteria. Our admissions team will work with you to determine the best path forward, ensuring that you have the necessary information and guidance to meet the prerequisites for joining the programme. 

Academic Entry Requirements 

  •  National High School diploma of domicile or equivalent to 5 UK GCSE’s grades A-C

English Language Entry Requirements

       Oxford ELLT*, IELTS or equivalent: 

  • 4-Term Course = Minimum of Oxford ELLT 3 (no component below 2)/IELTS 4.5 (no component below 4) 
  • 3-Term Course = Minimum of Oxford ELLT 4 (no component below 3)/IELTS 5 (no component below 4.5) 

Other Requirements: 

  • Laptop with webcam and audio capabilities.
  • Reliable internet connection.
